Light fixtures must be the currently approved model, color, and style for Ledgewood Hills (see photo) and are available for purchase from Property Management. Installation must be completed by a licensed electrical contractor.

Mounting Requirements

• Mount approximately 84 inches above ground level
• Place centered between two garage door openings if mounted on a garage
• Mount onto a backer board and not directly onto the gray siding clapboards
• No external junction boxes are permitted
• No external wiring is permitted. All wiring to the light fixture must be internal.

Backer Board Requirements

• Backer Board size: approximately 7 inches wide X 8 1/2 inches high
• Mount directly onto the sheathing, not over the gray siding clapboards
• Material: A white synthetic is preferred (AZEK or similar), or wood, painted white
• Installation: Ensure that the top of the board has a metal drip edge to prevent water from getting behind the backer board and rotting the sheathing

Mounting Requirements for Separate Units

• Mount to the upper trim board directly below the soffit overhang, if available
• The fixture should be flush mounted
• The color of the fixture must be white to match the building trim color
• No external junction boxes are permitted
• No external wiring is permitted. All wiring to the motion sensor must be internal
