A good garage door can improve energy efficiency, reduce noise from the street and enhance curb appeal. It can also add security for your home and vehicle.
Approved Features
When selecting a new garage door, please keep in mind that it must match those currently installed in Ledgewood Hills garages. As a suggestion, owners have found that Fimbel Garage Doors offers a garage door to Ledgewood Hills specifications. A few of the approved features include:
- Panel Style – FLUSH
- Windows – NO WINDOWS
- Section construction – 2” thick, two-sided
- Section material – Medium duty 27 galvanized steel
- Finish should be slightly textured to match current garage doors
- Insulation type – 1 13/16 Polystyrene
- Wind load – non-impact and impact rated
- Powder coating to match the Ledgewood color specified for garage doors:
- California Storm 4 - ENDURADECK Acrylic Stain #41892
- Five-Gallon Formula: SP-2Y6.5 / SI-10Y10 / SG-7Y1.5
Owners are not limited to Fimbel as a supplier, and may select a contractor who can supply a garage door to meet Ledgewood Hills specifications. As a suggestion, owners may ask the contractor for a copy of their Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI), which can be sent to the Property Manager with the Property Modification Request to seek approval before garage installation work is begun.
Approval Required
Before you install, or contract to install, a new garage door, approval of your planned installation is required by the Ledgewood Hills Condominium Association.
Please submit a Property Modification Request form to Property Management.
